In celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers’ Association, we proudly present you our 16th edition of “JMA HK 2008” Jewelry Show which is scheduled on 4 - 7 December 2008 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre Hall 1.
JMA Hong Kong has been a well-established jewelry show blended with excellent experiences as well as innovation and new ideas. Last year, JMA Hong Kong attracted visitors from over 60 different countries, which led to around 10,000 buyer traffic in the show in 2007.
踏進二十週年,香港珠寶製造業廠商會誠意向 貴公司展示由本會主辦、於本年十二月四至七日假香港會議展覽中心展館一 舉辦的一大珠寶盛事 -「香港國際珠寶廠商展覽會2008」。 經過商會十六年來的經驗、努力與不斷創新的精神,本展會逐漸擴展,成為城中一大矚目盛事,吸引了來自60個不同國家的買家參觀,帶來約10,000 人次。
Besides, the last year’s show firstly launched “Jewelry X Fashion Catwalk Shows”, having different top models and stars to showcase the winning jewelry pieces from our Buyers’ Favorite Jewelry Design Competition with the brand-new fashion collections designed by Mr. William Tang.
除此之外,本展會去年更首次推出「時尚珠寶潮流大匯演」,帶出「珠寶 X時裝」新概念。本會特別請來著名時裝設計師 - 鄧達智先生為一眾著名模特兒及巨星設計服飾,於展會的潮流大匯演向公眾展示「最受買家歡迎首飾設計比賽」中得獎的零八最新珠寶款式。

1. Under the new concept of clear product zones classification for fine jewelry, gem & pearl, diamonds and machinery & packaging, buyers can save time and find out desired products more precisely, which means this ensures you to grasp the right buyers in an easier way. The expanding of Gem & Pearl and Diamond zones last two years has proved the idea work successfully.
以產品類別劃分區域是本展會近年的一大嶄新概念。本展會設有珠寶首飾區、珍寶區(珍珠及寶石)、鑽石區及機器館,讓買家能準確地尋找自己欲訂購的貨品,節省了買家們的時間,有助 閣下找對客人,大大提高交易效率。去年,珍寶區與鑽石區參展商數目大幅增長,證明了此概念的可行性。
2. As a year-end show, many retailers and wholesalers aim at sourcing new-coming jewelries for 2009 as well as replenishing their stocks for the coming seasonal sales at Christmas and New Year, which provides you a golden chance to clear the year-end stock. Purpose in further stock clearance, our Closeout Marketplace can also serve as a relatively low cost platform for the local companies.
大批的本地及東南亞批發、零售商於年終在香港採購來年新貨,亦喜歡藉此機會為聖誕新年購物潮準備及補購現貨。本展會藉此作年底交易一大平台,為 閣下締造商機,另外更設置「大平賣貨場」,為本地廠商多提供一個成本較低的交易平台,製造年終清倉良機。
3. With the appropriate promotion programs through different media, we serve as a platform to promote you as brand new companies in Asia.

4. Nowadays, “branding” and “image” are elements cannot be missed in the marketing strategies. In order to sharpen the image of your products in front of buyers from all over the world, JM Club is specially designed for Hong Kong fine jewelry manufacturers. “JM Club” can also further emphasize the “Hong Kong Made” image, which refers to “High Quality” and “Reasonable Price” in overseas buyers’ minds. The coming new JM Club booth design will be more functional and flexible for displaying products. In addition to the elegant appearance and nice locations, you can have better chances to approach more buyers.

5. Every year, we launch “The Buyers Favorite Jewelry Design Competition” in order to stimulate the creativity of local designers with elements of the market touch. The designs will be judged by a panel of different jewelry experts and buyers, and the winning designs for 2009 will be displayed in JMA Hong Kong 08.
本會每年均會舉行「最受買家歡迎首飾設計比賽」,邀請本地、外地行內專業人仕及買家作評審團,選出最別出心裁之作品,務求刺激本地珠寶設計師的創意及對市場的觸覺。得獎的零九年度最新珠寶款式作品將於「香港國際珠寶廠商展覽會2008」中展示於大家眼前。
6. Besides, in order to attract more international visitors and serve as an information platform with innovation, we would like to introduce you the brand new zone of this year – “International Design Arena”, in which awarded international jewelry designers are invited to showcase their fascinating works and unique piece of design.
此外,作為一個不斷創新的資訊、交易平台,本展會將設置一個全新區域 -「國際首飾設計專區」,邀請來自世界各地的得獎珠寶設計師親蒞現場,展示其別樹一幟的設計,吸引更多海外、專業買家。

Last year, JMA HK 07 spent up to $3.5 million HK on promotion and advertising campaigns to inform visitors around the world about this year-end industry event. In 2008, we focus in attracting more and more visitors through different promotional schemes:
